Dewsidge,  Rebrand, Visual Identity and Website

A Brand Built on Clarity, Confidence and Quiet Authority

Say hello to Dewsidge,  a property development brand shaped by experience, precision and high‑end delivery.

Formed through the merger of two established businesses, one architectural and one engineering, the brand needed to bring everything together into a single, cohesive direction that reflected both capability and ambition.

The identity was developed to feel confident, refined and controlled. Something that speaks to a more considered, design‑aware audience without relying on obvious or overstated cues.

Inspired by the world of interior design, the brand leans into restraint,  clean structure, balanced typography and a palette that supports a more premium, understated presence.

The project also included a website designed to reflect the same level of clarity and restraint, giving the business a digital presence aligned with its positioning and audience.

The result is a brand that communicates clearly and sits comfortably alongside the calibre of work they deliver.

Bringing Two Businesses Into One Clear Direction

Alignment, Structure and a More Defined Position

The central challenge was not just visual, it was structural. Two established businesses, two ways of working and two audiences needed to come together under a single, unified identity.

The approach focused on clarity first, defining what the business needed to communicate and how it should position itself within a more design‑focused, higher‑end market.

The visual identity was built to reflect that shift. Clean, considered and restrained, with cues taken from interior design rather than traditional construction branding. This creates a brand that feels intentional and aligned with the environments it operates in.

Typography and layout are structured to support legibility and confidence, while the overall system allows the brand to flex across presentations, documentation and client‑facing materials without losing its coherence.

The result is a brand that feels resolved, not stitched together and able to support the business as it continues to grow.

Project Roundup

A Brand That Supports Growth and Alignment

This project focused on bringing clarity to a business in transition, taking two established directions and shaping them into something cohesive and forward‑looking.

The challenge was to create a brand that reflects experience and capability, while also positioning the business in a more defined, higher‑end space. Something that feels confident, considered and appropriate for the audience they wanted to attract.

The result is a structured and adaptable identity that works across every touchpoint, from internal documents through to client‑facing presentations.

More importantly, it’s a brand that gives the team a clear reference point. Decisions are easier, communication is more consistent, and the business is able to present itself with far greater confidence.

What It Meant in Practice

“We approached Mel when entering a new partnership with two very different businesses and a vague brief.

She teased out the core of what we do and understood it better than we did at the time. She doesn’t just design, she helps shape the identity from the inside out.Her input has completely transformed how we feel about the business, giving us real confidence in who we are and what we stand for.”— Rachel Liversidge, Founder, Dewsidge

Clear, Strategic Perspective

Answering the questions helps me understand where things stand and whether a review would be genuinely useful.

This Brand Positioning Review is offered from a brand and design perspective only. I review how your brand is positioned, communicated and expressed visually, not financial performance, legal matters or operational strategy.

Once I’ve received your request, I’ll send a confirmation email. After completing the review, we’ll arrange a call or video conversation to talk through the observations, implications and next steps, if appropriate.
